Dr. Imran Alvi, the Chief Executive of Oxford Intellect, a private institution committed to supporting economic departments and institutions in research and policy, visited Burch University last week on Thursday.
Dr. Imran Alvi met with the Rector of Burch University and the Vice Rector of International Relations and Scientific Cooperation to discuss possible cooperation between Oxford Intellect and International Burch University. Additionally, he hosted a lecture titled ‘Advanced research methods - case studies from the United Kingdom’.
There he discussed the latest advancements in research methods through case studies from leading higher education institutions in the United Kingdom, using examples including the growth of big data, agent-based models, text-based analysis and now casting. The audience of this lecture commented on its helpfulness and relativity, and many thanked Dr. Imran Alvi in person after his lecture.
In the future, International Burch University and Oxford Intellect are looking forward to a fruitful cooperation.
